Tis the holiday season, and all around us, we hear that things are slowing down in the industry. But are they really?
Advertising agencies, for example, need to use up their budgets by the end of the year. That means more commercial and print auditions. Films starting production early next year are finishing their casting. Some agents and managers have time to take meetings and are open to new clients. In addition, you might want to make sure all of your marketing materials are ready for the new year. This includes updating your resume, posting demo clips, and reviewing your headshots.
While December is a great time to unwind and spend time with family and friends, you also can stay busy right up until Christmas! My message to you is don’t get caught in the hype that nothing happens in the industry in December – its not true!
